I was registering for the silver freestyle event, but there is only "Championship silver" available for my registration.  Is this what it is called now?  I thought Championship level events were for all ages across the board and Silver (or whatever level) were for age-specific groups.

There are two types of freestyle events you can register for, each on different websites. The champ silver event is through usfsa.org and considered a qualifying event. The non-qualifying event is the open silver events (by age) that are managed by the LOC. You register for that via their EntryEeze site.

Does anyone know what the spectator admission charge will be? The event website does not have prices, or at least I could not locate them.

From the Event flyer:
ADMISSION
All-event and daily tickets will be available for purchase at the event. For ordering information, please visit www.usadultfigureskatingchampionships.com.

But I could not locate prices/ordering info.

For Adult Sectionals, there usually isn't a spectator fee.  The upcoming Adult Eastern Sectionals competition in New Jersey (my old skating grounds) says there is no admission charge.

For Adult Nationals, there is an admission charge, which has raised some hackles from what I understand.  I've never attended AN, so I wouldn't know if it was unusual.

The website says:

QuotePRE-ORDER INFORMATION FOR ALL-EVENT TICKETS, COACH CREDENTIALS, MERCHANDISE AND EVENT PROGRAMS WILL BE AVAILABLE IN FEBUARY.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE!

Give them a week or two to publish the details.

Easterns schedule is out already! And HUGE groups - 36 in champ silver, 27 in champ gold!

No charge to watch at Easterns this year, last year there was a small entrance fee. Competitors were given one coach and one "chaperone" credential for free. It's going back to Ardmore again next year (yay!) so I expect it will be similar in 2018. Adult Nationals has always had an admission charge, at least every year I have gone. Kid regionals/sectionals also usually have a fee, as do "big" competitions around here (State Games of America).

Since AN are practically in my backyard I hope to see 1 or 2 days worth. Wed. for the Bronze and Silver free skate since I am aspiring pre-bronze and want to see a good representation of the first levels in competition and Sat. for the high end competition.

For the NC contingent on this board (and anyone else coming to AN) we need to coordinate a meet up somewhere so we can put faces to names.

Is the schedule public?  I poked around on the North Jersey FSC and the Eastern Sectional web sites and couldn't find it.  I'm planning to watch at least some of it no matter what but was curious to see the schedule in advance since I know some of the people skating.

Also, anyone interested in a meetup at Easterns?

(I think it's for both qual/non-qual events, although the original link said NQ only.)

It's both qual/non-qual on there, they asked all qualifying competitors to also register on EntryEeze, as that's where you could buy official (champ events) practice ice.

If anyone is planning on watching, I'm in Champ Gold, Open Gold FS, Gold Light and Gold Dramatic. Yikes.

I'm not competing, but am on the medical team. I'll be there most of the time, except Saturday morning when I go to my bridge class. Looking forward to putting faces with names.

Update: I received pricing information from the Local Committee Chair:

From the website: All event ticket: Adult $45

Individual tickets on sale at event:
     Wed-Thur: $20 (adult)
     Fri-Sat: $20 (adult)

I did not get senior or child pricing.
