How many hours/week of strength training does it take to do jumps well?

I talked to a gal (age 15-17?) who was practicing double rotation jumps off ice, from two foot jumping position to two foot landing position (i.e., no angular rotation was stored in her legs). (I think she works on triple jumps on ice - i.e., a whole lot more athletic than me  :) ). I can't do more than a single rotation jump of any style, on or off ice.

I think she said that she does a whole body workout at least 3 times a week. But I didn't ask her how many hours/week that comes to. (She also said she uses muscles throughout her body - core, sides, upper back, etc.)

Do any of you know what is typical for a fairly serious skater?

My competive kids do off ice  5 days a week for an hour  and one day a week for two hours. They also do their own maybe 3 hours more a week.

Query

Thanks! How many hours of that are strength training?

They vary. Its a mix of running, ballet, box jumps, jump rope, stretching. Whatevr the off ice person teaches. When they do their own its running or box jumps, bikes , pull ups, and stretching.
