Hey guys, so I was going thru the forum and I couldn't find any topic of what's everybody sporting in this awesome sport LOL.
Like to see what everyone swears by and what everybody dislikes! Yes I'm being nosey but I can't help it LOL.  I'm wearing jackson premieres and was on coronation ace but turns out the blade was to short so I ended up taking my partners old flat pattern99. He's in the process of getting Eclipse Pinnacles for his Jackson Elite boots. Thankfully we found out that we have the same foot size so we could share boots and I will be able to try the Pinnacles. So that's what we are/going to be wearing.  Your turn to share :P

Jackson Elite Plus (because I'm heavier than average) with Ultima Matrix Legacy blades (because I need something that lasts as long as possible between sharpenings).

Jackson Freestyle boots with Ultima Mirage blades.

The boots are heat moldable but have never fit quite right even with repeat moldings.  My heels move in these boots and I'm developing a bursa on the top of my left foot and bunions on my right foot.  Yesterday while wiping down the blades after skating, a friend pointed out that the right boot (my landing foot) is developing the typical deep crease one sees when boots start to break down.  These skates are about two and a half years old and I have roughly 500 hours on them (10 blade sharpenings).  Although I'm a tad disappointed with the fit and the fact that they seem to be short lived, they were good reentry level boots when I came back to skating after being off ice for over 30 years.  This summer I plan to make an appointment with Mike Cunningham down at Skater's Paradise and retire these puppies.  Here's hoping the replacement boots will fit well and wear like iron.

I'm wondering if all entry level boots are short lived? Mine as well lasted really short it didn't even make the one year anniversary of having them lol. The Riedell 910ls . Now I have the Jackson premiere they feel much stiffer and much more comfortable. Good luck on finding your right fit boot!

Ripping the ice all day!

Jackson Elite Supreme (custom width because I have very wide lady feet) and MK Professional Parabolic blades. :)

And black laces currently, switched from hot pink. My rotation is black, hot pink and purple. Maybe a blue will make the rotation one day.

Riedell 2010LS and Coronation Dance.

sarahspins

Jackson Elite Supreme (90 stiffness) with Phantom profile Paramount 440's that are bright blue.

I will be moving on to Custom Harlicks fairly soon (with my "old" green Paramounts) - mine are due to be completed in just a couple of weeks now :)

Isk8NYC

SP-Teri SuperTeri CL (with custom flex notch and split-width sizing) with Wilson Gold Seal blades.

Jackson synchro, extra-wide ball and split width, with MK Pros.  Love the setup.  Not looking forward to hunting out new boots when the time comes, as the model I'm wearing suits me perfectly.  I recently looked at the current version of my boots in the pro shop, but they now seem to be skary "dance-short" in the shaft.
