I am a little nervous as I am the lowest level skater! Lol. It will be fun since I will be skating with a fun group. Still nervous tho! Ha!

I've been in your situation. Lowest level skater in a group number.

It was a zombie number.

Even though I volunteered to be a space filler zombie since I didn't have a 'show piece', I ended up in a character role.

I was Death--the hockey stick/ scythe carrying short cute version of Death. Had a lot of fun and the camera man always tactfully never included me in the video so I have no bad memories.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

I think one year our group number had two skaters who *just* started skating, like alpha-ish. They had a blast and stuck with the sport, progressing marvelously.
Enjoy

I am not quite THAT low, but definitely not on par with the rest. Lol. Tomorrow is the first rehearsal...we shall see how it goes!

Sounds fun!

I did this for the Christmas show last year. It was fun!  There were lots of adult skaters (40% of the total). We were not alone and had a terrific time.

The change room stuff was a blast too, though a tad noisy at times. Putting my hair into a bun for the first time in many many years was hilarious. I knew how because I sometimes do my daughters' hair, but on myself was too funny.

My kids & husband were incredibly proud (relieved) that I didn't fall. The more competent skaters were trying tricky stuff and did fall. It showed the wisdom of performing what you do best, not the flash stuff that may not work.
Will do almost anything for pizza.
