I really liked skatejournal.com  but she seems to have stopped skating (has YEARS of archive though)

Kat is coaching and blogging again.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

This is more of a fan blog on Facebook, but the page title ("Is That A Skate Guard In Your Pocket Or Are You Happy To See Me?") just caught my fancy, lol.  I literally LOL'ed.

Just saw this coach's website and I really like her guide to core elements.  Looks like the Moves section isn't complete yet, but it has a nice reference guide to spins, jumps and connecting elements, some with videos.

This is a very well-written and humorous blog about an adult skater taking standard-track group lessons:

I just happened across www.tracings.net - they attend and track competitors and competitions.  Great for skating fans!

This is a newish blog, about politics in skating.  (IMO). The stated intent is to focus on adult skating, but I guess it is not in season yet.

Maybe the blogger means to write from the perspective of an adult skater, but not necessarily focusing on adult skating.

I went to check www.skatejournal.com. It had years of archives, but it's dead and has been replaced by referer site.

That's so sad.  I'll bet Jim would have been willing to host an archive.  It was truly her opus, filled with tons of tips and information.

Did archive.org manage to crawl it before it went down?

Eta: Found it!

Maybe.  I was surprised because in all the self-promo posts he (?) said it was going to be from an adult skaters perspective, yet I don't see that coming through in the posts.  It was more disgruntled fan, IMO.  In fairness, my eyes glazed over partway through the first post.  I always need a laugh track, lol.

This is an interesting take on figure skating, from an adult skater/lawyer:
