I'm looking for recommendations for helmets. I welcome any shared experiences.

I'd tried the Ice Halo HD, but I wear glasses and it becomes uncomfortable to wear after 20-30 minutes - it feels like a massive sweatband.

I bought my mom a Crasche helmet since she's unstable on land (not skating related). She says it's comfortable and she wears glasses as well. They look like knit caps so don't look obvious that you're wearing head protection. A few of our older adult skaters have them too.

I have a Crasche headband style, not cap, and it is comfortable with glasses.
The only issue is I sweat into it a lot. I don't know if the cap is any better.
The headband is nylon (or other synthetic material) covering the neoprene rubber padding so it does not breathe very well.

I've thought about getting some wicking fabric and making a "summer" cover for my Crasche. I get sweaty under it too.

My glasses usually don't bother me while I'm wearing it.

I found the crasche head band material really slippery so cut the bits out and sewed them into a normal cotton hairband, but I don't find it particularly comfortable and I've read of several people whose headbands came off when they fell.

I haven't tried the Ribcap but have read lots of positive comments about them, especially as they have a chin strap so people think they are more likely to stay on.

I have the RibCap Lenny but don't use the chin strap.  I love it.  It doesn't make me overheat in the summer.

Interesting... I've had the opposite experience.  I wear glasses and use the Ice Halo HD, and it doesn't bother me a bit.  But the Crasche headband did.  Probably depends on exactly how they're positioned.
