Today was the first time I heard about this ice rink.  Seasonal, outdoor, downtown near the WFC.  Very hush-hush, with Olympic skaters available for lessons.

I'm gonna check that out next time I'm in Manhattan! The ice looks much nicer than Rockefeller/most of NYC's seasonal rinks

Based on http://www.gpice.com private lessons aren't cheap - and they have the highest rates I've seen quoted for group LTS lessons.

But, if I understand correctly, Manhattan isn't known for economical pricing.

   I work near there and am waiting to see when they open.  I haven't found the rink yet, but there's still time.  Will report back once I get there.
