Irina Medvedeva  is a judge. She was on the panel for pairs at the Jr..GP event at Colorado Springs this season. Does anyone know if she is related to Evgenie ?  I have no idea how common a sur name it is in Russia. Just curious.

It is a very common last name.  Former Russian president's last name is Medvedev as well

Her mother was a skater, I do know that. Most likely just a common name.
