T-Rex Tuesdays

This is just too cute.  The music makes it come alive. Beware the ice age, terrible lizards!

I never thought how hard it would be to do back crosses with a tail

Oh, that was awesome.  (And sadly, all I could think was "well maybe if I wore an inflatable T rex costume I wouldn't be afraid to fall!")

I just saw that on FB and shared it! And skategeek, I had the same mortifying thought!

I can't believe they managed to avoid stepping on the tail until the very end :P

Me either.  I was waiting for that from the first back crossover!  I love the T-Rex.

I noticed that this posting had the hashtag of AN2016!  So funny that this went viral and at this point, about 24 hours after posting it has had 12 MILLION views!

I have to say I feel like a dinosaur out there most of the time.  That tail will get you every time.

Of course I read the hashtag wrong - it says #skateMN2016 - which makes me wonder if it had anything to do with Nationals?  I am making assumptions here of course...

I see now that it has gotten 50 MILLION views - wow!~

Y'know, I actually went back to FB to check the post on my newsfeed, thinking I'd missed that tidbit.  When I saw the #skateMN2016 tag, I figured the FB share you read was posted by someone else.  I had a freaky thing happen: I shared it on FB and one of my non-skating friends tagged me in a comment.  I started to think it was some sort of phishing scan.  Glad I'm not crazy and it's just a viral video.

There's another TRex Tuesday video I like - the one where a pair of TRexes are running, helter-skelter, across highway bridges!  The scene where they look over the side cracked me with the sound effects!

Can't wait for next Tuesday!

Part of the 50m views came from ABC News reporting it on their site.  I think it's great that an innocent, fun video took off like that, rather than some tragedy or keystone-cop video.  I think the "School's Closed" videos have had their 15 minutes of fame.  They were fun but overdone.

There's a skatingboarding TRex video, but I can't tell if it was done by the same crew.  The boarder is good, nothing too fancy, and he doesn't crush his tail.  The best part is the music - it's the theme from Jurassic Park!  lol

I have had so many people post it to my FB wall - I lost track!

I am hoping this video will be singlehandedly responsible for bringing skating mainstream again! ::>)

I really love the expressions the skater manages to emote through his/her suit.
