Spinning on Ultima Mirage Blade

The ground clearance of the lowest toepick is SUPER LOW.  Just a slight press of the foot forward and the toepick scratches the ice.

How to find the "sweet spot" rocker on the Ultima Mirage blade?  Spins are quite impossible for me at the moment.  On past rentals, I could feel the sweet spot because I could feel the rocker.  But where is the front part of blade which rocks but without the toepick scratching?

It can take awhile to find the sweet spot. It's also called the "oily spot", when you find it you know it.  I don't think anyone can tell you "where it is", you just have to keep at spinning.  A coach can help tell you about your body position.  Dd's new blades took almost 2 months - and that was skating 3-4 times a week to find it (and stay on it!) on her blades.

I was just spinning today and I have the same boot and blades as you. I would sometimes have more than 2 revolutions. Try to put your weight near the toepick, the part of the blade thats near the toepick and doesn't touch the ice. Sorry if you dont get what im saying. Its hard to explain.

Do you mean you had the sharpener shape it into a different angle?

Yes, he trimmed just a tiny bit of the underside of the toepick (by which I mean the drop pick)

It was just a tiny fraction, not a lot. It makes a difference.
