Blue Skys is Back! (maybe)

Well, I just went to Blue Skys to see if they were still making custom skating trousers for men and saw signs that they may be restarting the business. OOoooh I so want a new coach's coat. Evelyn Kramer's took a beating in 2010 and needs to be replaced.

Sadly, the "we're back!" notice has been posted for close to a year now... I keep checking, because I want a new coat too!

I poked around a bit. She also runs a custom purse shop. No products in there. Maybe she died or something.

 I got an e-mail way back, as a long-standing customer, that stated that they were continuing to make the men's pants.  The site is still active listing the pants; I haven't followed up, but, given the complete lack of anything decent for guys, I may be forced to soon (Podium Skatewear has gone out of business, and they were my new supplier of reasonable guys' practice pants.)

The new link is substantially updated from the original webpage ... so I would think it promising that she is indeed still making the pants. Jenna is the one there that I dealt with on my orders.

I just got an email from her in response to mine. Not making coats (darn). Just the coach's pants and men's.

Sigh. And Mee sport dropped the coach's coat from their menu (not that I'd order 12, but I just might have been able to find 12 people)

Well, that did happen to me with some software years ago. It was a one man company and he passed away.
