I think we already have a similar thread somewhere, but that's okay...I have a transpack ice with blue flowers, and it's got:

- Jackson Premieres
- 3 pairs of knit gloves - I have about a million pairs and routinely switch them around
- Either my maroon Under Armour Virginia Tech practice jacket or my club jacket
- Blue towel
- Soakers
- Purple guards
- CDs for my two programs
- A bunch of pens
- A notebook that's falling apart
- Arm warmers
- Leg warmers
- One pair of Rainbo skating socks in case I decide I don't want to skate barefoot

SynchKat

In my bag is...

My Wifa skates
Multiple pairs of tights which have collected there from competitions and test days
A few mismatched gloves
A few mismatched socks
Pair of guards
2 pairs of blades covers (no idea why)
Leg warmers (possibly only 1)
Random tags from competitions
Random paperwork for the synchro team
A few schrunchies and elastics
Extra pair of laces
Skate polish and tape

However, in my locker...

My old skates (as backup, just in case)
2 pairs of guards
Extra pair of laces
8 or 9 "pairs" of gloves (I think only about half of those match)
My coach's jacket
Towel (sometimes.. for whatever reason this tends to disappear, usually into my daughter's zuca)
Box of tissues
Hair elastics
Hair brush
Green Scrunchie
Christmas lights
Magnum Sharpie
2 Jumbo Washable Marks-a-Lot markers
Lots of tiny candy canes
A disturbingly large collection of mints from Sonic

Spare meter
Spare infusion sets

I have a LL Bean skating bag.  In it is...

Oberhamer skates with terry cloth soakers on
a pair of Baurer skate guards - basic rubbery type, with the plastic covered spring to hold onto the heel part of the blade

And now removed from the skating bag...
a ball of kitchen twine (for making extension loops)
a long twist tie
two pieces of Halloween candy
one partly squashed Lindt ball (chocolate)
one glow bracelet (why was it in there???)
hiking stick medallion for Lost River Gorge (why was that in there???)
a cute trivet with a skating penguin on it - my coach gave it to me as a holiday gift yesterday
wrapping paper and a card to go with the trivet

When actually heading out to the rink I add:
a warm hat
warm, fleece gloves

Do you guys really keep all that stuff in your bag? I really don't have much:

My pair of skates - GAM Select with Ultima Legacy blades
One light pink pair of soakers
One hot pink pair of blade guards
Two small towels (for wiping the blade)

And that's it!
Socks stay at home and are on my feet as I leave
Extra gloves live at home too and one pair goes into my pocket as I leave
Packet of tissue in my pocket too

If I'm going straight to lab after skating, then I have another bag that contains my change of clothes. My skate bag can only hold skates.
I'd love to have a Transpack but I don't know what I'd put in it! It's so large.

I have an Ogio duffel bag - I'm sure there's more than this, but this is what I can think of currently:

- Harlick skates
- At least 4-5 pairs of gloves (I've been wearing two pairs it's so cold!)
- Ear band
- 2 hard guards
- 2 towels
- 1 pair soakers
- Board bag, which contains water bottle, kleenex, CD case, iPod, and hip pad
- multi-headed adjustable screwdriver
- square head screwdriver
- FS tickets
- Two pairs of Bunga ankle sleeves, plus one torn up pair of Silipos (as in, I literally tore it into strips to put under certain parts of my Bunga pads)

Currently I also have my coach's card/gift, but that's only there until my lesson Thursday!

PinkLaces

I have a Zuca bag - which has been a seat for me on more than one occasion:

Green fuzzy soakers
1 pr silver skate guards(also soon to be replaced with new guards)
2 black odor out things that I put in my skates to get rid of the smell
1 ugly red spare pair of gloves
1 pair cute penguin mittens for helping with LTS
1 pair black gloves with magic touch for Saturdays when we use my iphone as music
1 cord to attach to sound system at Saturday rink
1 champion chord
ISI Rule/Handbook latest addition
My homemade skating corrections book
Several music cd's from various tests/competitions - never took them out  :blush:
3 skate rags for wiping blades
2 "nude" colored trouser socks
3 washable markers
2 pkgs of stickers
Lace puller/tightner
Screwdriver set from a competition
$8 - exact change for public skate (some days it's $5 and some it's $3)

Mind if I recycle this for laughs?

(Reminder, while I'm off ice, clean out the boot bag)
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

Keep in mind I have only been skating for 6 weeks...  All of the other posts are giving me ideas for additions.  Not so sure whether this is a good thing, though.

I currently have a gray and teal backpack (though I have been told a Transpack is a possible Christmas gift)
1 pair of Jackson Mystique skates
1 spare pair of gray gloves
1 pair navy blue soakers
2 towels to wipe blades (white w/ blue, green, and teal polka dots)
Kleenex
Infusion kit (band aids, needles, syringe, gauze, alcohol wipes, tourniquet)
Humate-P (clotting factor)
Sharps container
Compression wrap
Rescue inhaler

I don't keep anything with me that I don't need on at least a semi-regular basis... I had actually collected far more random "junk" in my Zuca bag when I still used it than I have now.

I used to have more things like printed MITF diagrams but I have all of those memorized through intermediate now and some of novice.

Well, I've been skating just over 6 weeks, and in my (pink and black) skate bag, I have:

Jackson Mystique figure skates
Soakers (purple - currently on blades)
2 part hard guards (purple, sparkly)
1 Pair pink fingerless gloves
Wrist guards
Elbow pads
Knee pads
Skate UK Record of Achievement
Practice book (small red book with notes from my coach about various things to remember)
Purse (only in there when I go to the rink)
iPod shuffle (pink - for the bus ride to and from the rink)
2 pairs boot covers (1 white, 1 purple)
A chamois for wiping my blades
I also have, but don't store in my bag, a purple "Keep Calm and Carry On" hoodie that is my skating jacket, and has my Skate UK achievement badges sewn on to it (must sew Level 3 badge on)

Hmm, I carry a lot of stuff!
Started lessons again: 6/11/2012
Currently working on Skate UK Level 8, and beginning to enter the world of ice dance :)

I have a purple skating bag. To customize it, I added an embroidered skater's luggage tag and a mini skate guard keychain. Inside we have:

* Custom Harlick skates
* Lavender soakers
* White "pearl" hard guards
* Sneaker balls for deodorizing
* Spare laces
* 2 pairs of gloves (chenille)
* Diagram for keeping edges straight
* Elastic hair bands (for top skate hooks)
* Handkerchief
* Hand towel for drying blades
* Extra pill case for my medications
* Crasche hat
* Skate lacing hook
* Bunion pads (stick-on)
* Kleenex
* Breath mints
* Blistex (lip balm)
* Pen
* Bottle of water

When I leave, I toss in my keys, wallet, and iPhone, as well. Surprisingly, it's not heavy or difficult to carry.

I received a new skate bag for Christmas so I've cleaned the old bag out.  Now I have skates, soakers, rag, gloves and knee pads.  Funny thing about the bag-DH and I rarely exchange gifts and we haven't had the kids buy for us until this year.  DS had bought me an ornament at the library santa store but when DH brought home the bag-DS claimed that as his gift.  I guess he knew what mom would really want!

karne

Well, mine is still sitting by, unused since December 5th :(

It's a black wheelie suitcase. I bought it from Big W two years ago for just $19  :laugh: It is now missing one foot and doesn't stand up too well. Dragging it through Melbourne Airport at speed wasn't very good for it.  :sweat

- skates, in soakers
- hard guards
- hand towel for drying blades
- large towel for drying self in case of splashdowns
- skipping rope
- spare laces (three pairs)
- bandaids (I am very clumsy)
- screwdriver
- deodorant
- Aussie Skate booklet
- music on CD
- nail clippers

and I leave my wallet/keys/phone in it when skating.
"Three months in figure skating is nothing. Three months is like 5 minutes in a day. 5 minutes in 24 hours - that's how long you've been working on this. And that's not long at all. You are 1000% better than you were 5 minutes ago." -- My coach

ISA Preliminary! Passed 13/12/14!

sampaguita

I keep my skating bag simple:

skates w/ soakers
hard guards
small towel for wiping blades
waxel pads and knee pads
boot covers
extra pair of socks
gloves
camera

Okay, that wasn't exactly as short as I thought it would be. :p

I've got to go from memory because my bag is at the rink. I cleaned it out last week, so there's less there.

- Pair of Jackson Elite Plus with Coronation Ace blades
- Pair of old model Jackson Elite Plus (not near as good as newer model!) with brand new never-skated-on Graf Luasanne blades  (plan to use for rink guard job so my "real" skates won't break down extra fast... I had figures blades on them which I can't guard in, but got these Graf blades half price)
- Pair of Gold Test figures blades in the Graf blades box
- Pair of small gloves (had 2 but lost a pair recently)
- Couple of deoderizer balls to put in boots
- Very old Soakers on the skates
- Small hand cream (I use it on my toes because I hate my toes my toes rubbing together with friction)
- Albuterol inhaler for asthma
- Tube of Aspercreme
- Tube of Anbesol which I use on my huge bunion so it doesn't hurt
- Bottle of ibuprofen
- Random money (took about $12 out today, but there's some more)
- Half a book of skating coupons (discounted admission rate)
- Cloth for drying skates
- A  pair of dirty nylons
- A couple pair of clean nylons
- Hair scrunchies
- Box of Puffs tissues
- Bottle of Gatorade
- Small piece of memory foam
- Bandage tape
- Couple of phone numbers
- Business cards I made for my skating forum that no one knows about (please PM me if you want the url!)

I may have missed a couple items.
