Varnish stuff?  SnoSeal?  Artwork?  Autographs?  Your name?  Glitter?

Isk8NYC

Klingbeil's iconic flower, my name and the boots creation date etched into the leather.  (The main reason I won't let the skate tech "level the boot" - he'll belt-sand them off.)

I also have my last name and the most recent sharpening date written on the blade plate in Sharpie.

Those glitter-encrusted soles make me itchy, lol.

I didn't know they did that - very cool!  I never thought about last name or last sharpening date.

one time i skated a whole session with a quarter in the bottom of my skate! sorry that was slightly off topic but i felt the need to share.

The history of my ROH, with a line through the changes 1/2 (starting out), 3/8 (skating on crappy ice), 9/16 (my patch days), 5/8 (returning to skating--and I didn't care because I was going to sell the skates and use my Harlicks), 1/2 (back to where I started after I couldn't get the Harlicks to work out). This is how my tech tracks me, cause I'm all into experimentation and stuff.

There's also a string of numbers that I don't know what it means, and a piece of masking tape. Bottom of the skates is the tech's world. I don't ask, I don't touch.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

I'll always check there for loose change now!

I have Klings so I have the almost the same as Isk8NYC with the Klingbeil flower, boot creation date and my last name (maiden name) and snow seal.

I like the idea with the date for last sharpening.  I will start doing that.

Just sno-seal on mine with silicone under the blades :)
