I love campy, cheese-y skating videoes. Do have any you'd like to share?

The cheese kicks in at about 2'30", so be patient. The Oedipal Coach storyline, the score of "6.1," and the strategically placed crystal star on the fringed cowboy pants get me every time!

World Skating Report Card..Judging scandals.
Some pretty funny lines out of the blue. Starts slow, but gets funnier.

Ha ha--

Did anyone see Jill Zarin get yelled by a Russian Coach on last season's RHNYC? If not, here it is..(warning: contains extremely grating "nails-on'chalkboard" voice of Jill Zarin)

A guy films an ice rink then uses some special software to make all the skaters look like toys. About :40 you can spot what is obviously a coach teaching a small boy. What is he teaching?

(ignore the long driving scene at the beginning of the video)

The kid in the center wearing yellow?  Looks like the coach is teaching him a catchfoot spin.

The little girl on the left wearing red?  It's a beginning shoot-the-duck.

The coach in blue, who comes right toward the camera, carrying a boom box seems to be teaching the skater her program.  (I like the gestures - that's really cute!)

Cute video - thanks for sharing it!

It was the coach in blue I noticed, I completely missed the boombox.

Here's one from several years ago...

That's so funny!  I wonder if he really skated with them or if it was creative video editing?
Very well done - I love the backflip over the toboganning hockey player.

I posted this video on YouTube and Princeton University's main website today. It's by another office, not mine, and they always do a fun job with their student life videos.

How did I not know about this?! It even won a Brit award for best video

(I sometimes skate at that rink - Alexandra Palace - it is beautiful.)
