I'm adding two rinks to my directory of rinks near Washington, DC.
I haven't verified they are real and still exist yet, but they were mentioned on the web. They are a bit far afield from me, but maybe not to everyone on this board.
The Avenue at White Marsh Nottingham, MD (just north of Baltimore)

Loudoun Ice Centre
Sterling, VA (only a few miles from Ashburn Ice House)
https://www.loudounice.comHas anyone been to either within the past year, so they can verify they exist?
As I noted in another post, the First Line (hockey) Training Center near Rockville Ice Arena has shut down and is auctioning off the last dregs of their gear. Too bad its seems to be too late to grab their sharpening machines and synthetic ice from 3 rinks. (AFAIK, Rockville Ice Arena is still open.)
Maybe someone will open a rink near here with all that synthetic ice? The DC metro area has a lot of real ice - it would be hard for synthetic ice to compete. (Not as much glide; blades wear out very fast.)
