Has anyone here tried the Legacy 7 (Model Nr UB 70) or the related Matrix Legacy 7 (Model Nr MX 7070)?  I'm interested in those blades but as I understand it, neither one comes in a size 11 yet.  The description of the blade profile suggests a similarity to Phantoms.

I haven't tried them yet, but the rep I spoke to said they are supposed to compare to Coronation Ace.

I just bought a pair in 9.75" for my Edea Chorus boots.

I am trying them out this evening at the club and will post my impressions of them afterwards.

I did buy a pair of these blades in size 11.  I've skated on them for roughly a month.  My main impression, so far, is that transitioning from my old Ultima Aspire (8 foot rocker) blades to the Ultima Legacy (7 foot rocker) was seamless rather than spooky as I had feared.  Do these blades make my weak side Mohawk better?  Perhaps a tiny bit, however the biggest take away is that my back skating in general has become much quieter.  I think this is due to the increased rocker pushing me further back on the blades, away from the picks.  I was a little disappointed that Jackson couldn't or wouldn't supply the Legacy Matrix version in my size which would have featured stainless steel blades mounted in aluminum chassis.  Stainless steel blades would require fewer trips to the sharpener.

What blades did you have before?  Did you notice any improvement in your spins?

Ultima Aspires (8 foot rocker).  Not much of a spinner to begin with.  Not a great improvement but your experience may be different.

This is one phenomenal blade!

Turns are really easy, and spins seem easier than both my former Matrix Legacy, and Coronation Ace blades.

Perhaps the comparison to the CAs isn't fair as I bought these used and the spin rocker probably has been worn down a bit, but I am very happy with the Legacy 7's.

The toe pick is a bit bigger and sharper than the CA's.

I have almost adjusted. Double/triple/Quad 3's seem a bit too easy so I have to adjust my technique.
