IJS for Adult Athletes

In this session you will learn the basics of the International Judging System as it applies to domestic adult singles and pairs events. We will discuss the technical element score (base values, levels of difficulty and grades of execution) as well as the program component score.  You will learn to read the primary documents where information is published so that you have the tools to educate yourself as the scoring system continues to evolve.  The session concludes with two prerecorded calling demonstrations of adult singles competition programs.  Click here to register:

Maximizing Points in IJS for Adult Athletes

In this session you will learn strategies for maximizing your score in IJS. You will learn about how tradeoffs between difficulty and quality impact your score. You will also learn about common errors seen by officials.
