Ballet vs skating Spinners

So my coach told us to buy a spinner to help with our training, however where I live they're not very easy to buy/very expensive. So I was wondering what is the difference between dance and skating spinners? Would I be able to use a dance spinner instead?? as they are much cheaper. And if not what are the best brands or types of spinners to get
