For those of us that sometimes hand out rental skates, Wikipedia has a fairly elaborate article on shoe (and boot) sizes:

How interesting. Kids and women's shoe sizes overlap.

Alas, there are a lot of slightly contradictory articles on shoe sizes, and interconversions between different measurement systems, on the web.

Okay, so evidence that I've fallen down the rabbit hole, I'm fascinated by this article. Two weeks ago before trying to get a skate that fit, I wouldn't have given a second look at it, but now its fascinating. Thank you for sharing. :toppts:
