I wore Bunga pads with my Harlicks for years and years.

I am on week #2 of breaking in my new Harlicks and was trying to do so without the Bunga pads.....after 2 weeks of blister bandaids and raw skin, I've decided to go back to wearing the Bunga pads.   The problem?  After an hour of skating, I noticed the fit felt different, looked down, only to see my Bunga pad all bunched up in the back...it had totally ridden up and was no longer even tucked down inside my boot!  I've NEVER had this happen before and I'm not sure how to stop it!

Has anybody had this happen?

Are you sure the boot fits right around the ankle? As that doesn't sound right.

Assuming it does, if you have a look on the internet you can find gel sleeves which cover your heel like a toeless sock. That shouldn't move so much. If you search for lace bite or boot bumper you should be able to find them. I know silipos makes one as I've got one.

I find I like round makeup sponges better than Bungas.  They are thin enough that they don't take up any room but cushy enough to prevent the bite I get from the tongue of my boots.  Have you tried them?  The Bungas moved around on my as well.
