From what sources do you get figure skating information?

I use all of these sources.

Rats!  Thought I checked that box and it's not letting me edit it now.  Let's go with "most often used."

I thought it was interesting that "Coach" was not an option in the poll.

Anyway, I've gotten so much incredibly useful information from this forum about everything from equipment to testing to competitions to choosing a coach, music or apparel. It's made me feel much more relaxed when I go into a situation like testing for the first time because I've known what I might expect thanks to the contributions of members here.

Very useful indeed.

May I humbly suggest to start another poll with multi check? otherwise sfs will win hands down. Thanks mod!

Actually I get most of the info here for my own skating. spectator skating is another story.

I second this thought.  Though I suppose you could use the "other" option for coach.

As much as I enjoy reading the forums the final authority on figure skating for me is my coach.

I guess it really depends on what information I need. Obviously my coaches have final say on all things technique, etc. However, my friends on Facebook and everyone here are also good sounding boards when I'm just not quite understanding something. Mainly use Facebook to figure out who's going where for what competitions, new products, or general skating issues. Mainly use USFS website for rule book, pattern dance list, that sort of thing. Spectator stuff is icenetwork and twitter. Drills and exercises for fun is twitter for the most part.

Some of the coaches (like Tom Zakrajsek or Audrey Weisiger) use twitter and Facebook to put up their instagram or youtube videos of different drills and such. Sometimes my skating friends share them on there too.
