This is for my first competition (ISI Alpha), so I didn't want to go overboard with it.  Comments welcome!  (My first time posting pics here so hopefully resolution is ok.)

So pretty! Love the trio of stones along the skirt edge.

That was my coach's suggestion.  It came out well!

This looks stunning!!! Is this the first time you stone a dress? How long did it take you?

My first time!  It took about 2.5 hrs to do the back.  I didn't keep careful track of time for the front neckline and skirt, but I think it was another 2-3 hrs, maybe a little longer.

It's beautiful!  You did a fabulous job.  I especially loved how you did your hem and may have to copy that idea someday.  Have fun wearing this gorgeous dress!

It looks good from a distance.   ;)  Up close you can see that there's glue here and there along the back straps that I can't seem to get off.  The front is better because I knew what I was doing by then.

Looks lovely! Is that a US Icewear dress?

Yep, this one:  http://www.usicewear.com/?id=8357  I copied the stoning pattern she shows here, but added a third row to the neckline and the trios of smaller stones around the edges of both layers of the skirt (my coach's idea).

The stones on the skirt improves upon the US Icewear pattern. And because what you have done is classic and simple, you always have an option to add more later (when you decide you need more bling).

Looks beautiful!  When is your competition again?
