Capezio is giving away ballet slippers for the price of shipping ($5)

https://www.capeziodance.com/freeballetslippers/

Adult sizes only (4.5=smallest)
They choose the color and style.

Free is good, right?

Thank you for the heads up! I took advantage of the deal, because hey they are $5 ballet shoes and I will find a use for them. :)

I did this and got mine today!

They sent me a pair of men's Cobra Canvas split soles in black - they aren't a perfect fit, possibly due to being made on a men's last (and me with women's feet), but they're good enough for the price! (Especially as I don't dance anymore and am mostly going to use them as actual slippers and the occasional pirouette around the house...)

Thanks for posting the deal! :)

Still waiting on mine... I've gotten junk mail as a result of this deal (we have a capezio store locally - I had no idea - but they just had a sale on tights) but no slippers yet.. hopefully soon!

MimiG

Really? I haven't received any junk yet that I've noticed...

I don't think that really counts as junk, since it was directly related, from Capezio.

I am surprised to hear they sent men's slippers to a woman.  Was size not part of the options?  Usually the sizing isn't the same.  MimiG- Could they just be black women's or unisex slippers?  The Cobra slipper is not exclusively a men's product, and women often need black slippers for various ballets.

I skipped on this, as I'm super picky about my slipppers.

Well, okay, maybe not "junk" mail, but it did show up in my mail box and I wasn't expecting advertising :)

I wasn't in the market to buy tights (this was a week or so ago?) so I just tossed it... there are only like 10 capezio stores in the country though, so perhaps if you don't live near one, you wouldn't have gotten one?  They've sent me emails too, but the offers only apply in-store, not online.

I'm still waiting for mine. Considering using them in the basketball side of the building and warming up ballet type moves there lol. :)

The model number in the shoe is for the men's version of the slipper. They sent me the equivalent men's size to the one I ordered. I have big feet, so that may have been their only option for fulling my request with one of their available freebies. I don't mind, as I'm not actually going to dance in them.

I didn't get any junk mail, either.  I had ordered two pairs and they both came - a pair of men's in black and a pair of ladies' in pink.
They were ordered the same day, but arrived over a week apart in different packaging.  *shrugs*  My DDs say they fit fine, although one is "allergic to pink" so they had to swap, lol.

Mine just arrived. I like that they're canvas. :) However, I got pink, I would have preferred black lol. But for $5 I can't complain. :)

sarahspins

I still haven't gotten mine - maybe today (mail hasn't come yet)?

I'm probably going to take a fabric marker to mine in the future, like how girls will color their old pointe shoes they don't wear anymore. :)

Love love love Capezio's split Cobras :) All i wore when I was in ballet. :)

I finally got mine today.... they sent me pink canvas pro, but they are a little too small - will they fit better as I wear them more? :(  I wonder if it's not more like the size (length) is fine and my super wide feet are really at fault...
