Been there, done that.  I have iAIM certificates in Arena Management and in Arena Operations.  I have to say that I've had a lot of professional education in my old life, but what ISI does in these courses is the best I've ever encountered.  My old company paid for both my courses as part of my severance package, but if you are thinking of spending your own money, do not hesitate.  Every presenter was top notch, every course was thorough, and everything you could imagine, and some you could not, was covered.  They send you a huge binder with the course materials in advance, with instructions to read it before the course begins.  I did not, but I learn better in a class room, and the quality of the presentations made it easy for me.
My glass is half full :)
