Does anyone know the dates for the 2020 skating camps please? The LP website is still showing 2019 dates, and I heard a couple of rumors that the June weekend wouldn't be happening (probably because of low attendance last year). Anyone know if that's correct please?

They've just posted:
Lake placid adult week/weekend.  Despite rumors (I heard that too), June is moving forwards:
June Adult Skating Weekend -June 18-21, 2020*
August Adult Skating Week -August 16-22, 2020

Great. Thanks for the info. I was checking their site every few days but figured their plans would be on hold atm.

So pleased they are still running the June weekend, but see they've reduced the facilities to one rink. Not really surprising as last year's attendance seemed to be 50% of 2018.

There doesn't appear to be any summer camps listed, and the rink shows up as "Temporarily Closed" but the calendar is operating so it may be open to members of the club or locals for freestyle only.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

NY state has a website in which you can type in the county and business category code to see what's allowed (https://www.businessexpress.ny.gov/app/crw?link_goal_state=ScreenOrder~Main~qs$CRW_NAICS$global$global).

With some Googling, I found

Lake Placid is in Essex County, currently in Phase 3 of re-opening.

The business category code (NAICS) for ice rinks is 713940.

And the current regulations are:

"Your business is currently permitted to operate with restrictions . Restrictions that are applicable to your industry are as follows:
Gyms, fitness centers, and exercise classes remain closed. CrossFit gyms and other forms of personal training remain closed. Remote instruction or streaming of classes from public or private schools or health/fitness centers is permitted, provided, however, that no other in-person indoor activities, including group classes or one-on-one personal training, are permitted. Certain types of outdoor sports and recreation are permitted so long as social distancing and cleaning/disinfecting measures are in place. For a list of permissible outdoor, low-risk recreational activities, see Empire State Development's Guidance for Determining Whether a Business is Subject to A Workforce Reduction Under Recent Executive Orders at: https://esd.ny.gov/guidance-executive-order-2026. Swim classes and swim instruction are permitted. For guidance for pools, please see; https://coronavirus.health.ny.gov/system/files/documents/2020/06/doh_covid19_pooladvisory_061120_0.pdf"

Skating rinks are not explicitly called out.  But my interpretation is that all indoor sports facilities (with the exception of pools) are still closed.

Lake Placid has summer skating this year (but so far no adult week).  All sessions are by pre-registration and a coach must certify you are well to skate each day.  I believe it is 10 skaters max per session:
