Hey guys! So as the title implies, I have a serious Vitamin D deficiency that causes me to have soft bones. I found out the hard way back last year November after breaking my ulna to cushion a fall last year. (Silver linings!) I've been taking my prescribed supplements, but I was wondering if there is anything else I can do to toughen up my bones. Because frankly this sport requires lotsa falling and I don't want to break yet another bone and be forced (by the Dad) to give it up!

Thanks for reading!

You should consult your physician for any additional treatment. Also consider wearing protective gear.  Have your physician refer you to a sports medicine specialist if needed.

And since tstopme gave the the best advice, we're going to close this thread down.

illusionkicks, please feel free to post on other skating topics, but this one really seems to be beyond the kind of information you should be asking people on the internet.
