A few years ago I bought a pair of d3o knee pads from Se_Ku Skatewear.  Now when I go to their website it indicates that they are not making any products at present.  Their phone number is also disconnected.  I assume that they've gone under.  Can anyone confirm?  Assuming that they are no longer in operation is there another source for d3o knee pads that are not too bulky?  My daughter would like to purchase a pair--mine are too big for her.

Their facebook said they went out of business and hadn't made product in about a year. They couldn't keep up with the companies that make their things overseas despite their product being high quality. They couldn't compete with the prices.

They had an everything goes sale at their shop and told those not in the area to email on the following Monday regarding any remaining stock. I never heard back from my email so I think they're done.

Thanks.  I emailed the sharper edge, a skating store in the Boston, MA area that at one time had Se_Ku products, <http://sharperedgeskates.com/body-protection.html> and they confirmed that Se_Ku was out of business and that sharper edge had sold all of their Se_Ku stock.  A shame.  I liked Se_Ku's d3o products.  I'll see if I can modify the pair of Se_Ku knee pads which I have so that they'll fit my daughter.  I have Musto d3o knee pads but those are quite a bit bulkier than the Se_Ku item.

Yes sadly they are out of business.  I love their stuff!  Great quality, comfortable and pretty.

I'm hoping that someone will come in and at least start making the d3o protection part of their ex-line up.  Seems like there ought to be a market for those items.
