Query

Tim Burt used to be a skate fitter/sharpener in Virginia at Ashburn Ice House and Kettler Capital Iceplex, but he isn't there anymore.

Does anyone know where he moved to? Or did he retire?

Tim Burt is now a fitter and sharpener for saveology Iceplex  aka Panthers iceden.

I've never dared to ask him about his figure skating history maybe you could let me know of His fitting and sharpening reputation?

I'm reliably told that Kettler no loner has any tech with training doing figure skates.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

Tim Burt was described by some people as the best skate technician in Virginia. I believe he worked on hockey, figure and possibly speed skates. But I live in Maryland, and never used him, so I can't speak from experience.

Florida is a long commute from Virginia for most customers - to some extant he may have to build up a new clientèle.
