Since when does Mk have three different types of Professionals Freestyles????

Has anyone tried the new MK Professional Rev or MK Professionals Parabolics?
I have talked to my coach about getting new blades. She says I should stick with the Professionals, or go up one blade, but not to the Phantoms ( The toe pick is too large). Honestly, I would not mind staying on Professionals since I am already having to change size completely. But I want a lighter weight blade. Has anyone experienced the benefits of the Rev or Parabolic Models?

I think most skaters don't notice much difference between a normal blade and a parabolic blade.  Weight differences are nominal as well - there's just not that much material being removed from the parabolic blade.

Every skater I've talked to that has used the revolution blades has LOVED them though, they report softer feeling landings in particular, so if you are looking at lighter weight blades that could be a good option for you.

I am 99% certain that the blade material is the same between all of them though, unlike something like Paramount where stainless (or carbon steel) runners are available, I'm pretty sure all MK blades are still carbon steel, the main difference is that the revolutions have the carbon fiber frame.

I have the Professional Parabolics (got "used" ones for cheap at MySkatingMall.com).  I don't recall that much difference when I switched, haven't noticed any real benefit from them and I definitely wouldn't spend the extra money for them new.
