We currently have four different forums devoted to discussing skating events and news.

. General Skating Discussion, Events, News
. US Skating
. Canada Skating
. Everywhere Else Skating (or something like that)

The structure is really a leftover from the original skatingforums.com layout, when fans came in droves to discuss events and skaters.

We don't currently have that many people interested in talking about skating as a spectator sport.  Our focus is really geared towards skaters, parents, and coaches.  We provide a lot of discussion and help on how to get started, how to skate better, how to understand and manage the sport.

Do you think we can merge the four "events/news/general" discussion sections into one single forum?

We can start threads for each of the international events, if anyone wants to have a place to discuss and debate those events.  If someone wants to review a skating show or special event, they're more than welcome to start a thread for that as well.
