Hi !

Whats the best way to mount blades to the boots ?
most guides and videos I watched,  just screw them with small screws from the outside.

I also I heard some people drill holes straight thru the boot and mount it with bolts...

Whats the best idea here ??

Is there a local skate shop you can go to with a technician who can mount them for you?

No one drills holes straight through the boot and mount it with bolts. For one thing, to get the screwheads in there, you'd have to countersink them so you can put your feet in,  and there's no way to do that in the toe of the boot. That's frankly someone pulling your leg.

What davinci said. Find a skate tech to do it. You can't learn from youTube.

Edeas are actually drilled all the way through the sole but they use special screws/nuts to facilitate that, and it's not something you see done on other makes of skate.

That said, mounting blades is really not a DIY project unless you really know what you are doing - watching a few videos isn't going to show you what you really need to know to do it correctly.

Okay, I stand corrected.

The actual attaching of the blades is the rather trivial part.   WHERE to attach them is the art and science of the folks who do it for a living.

I mount my own blades, it takes me several weeks of playing on ice to get them positioned for proper balance, tracking etc..
