I just wanted to see what are people's opinion on Tango-Roxanne?
I just learned that I have to compete in order to get more ice time at our club. I was not planning on doing this until next year, but I need to throw a program together for April 26 and May 3rd. I really like this piece, but I am a bit afraid that it might be too sexy...

I like it.  I think the choreography you choose would have a lot to do with whether or not it was "too sexy".  Some of the high-test skaters in our club did a number to this piece (a version with.....Louie Armstrong??? singing "Roxanne") they did choose to sex it up a little, but it was an exhibition, and they didn't go overboard.  It worked.

What does your coach think?

I think I actually changed my mind. After thinking about it I don't think it is appropriate for a competition.  It is nice piece, but Honestly... I would not feel comfortable skating to this in front of a bunch of 8 year olds...

I need 2:30 +/- 10. I am going to talk to my coach about it tomorrow. I actually stumbled upon a really good instrumental version of "let it go" from Frozen today, which I think is much more appropriate for the level and the competition.
