I got the Bunga heal pads.  Any suggestions on how to get them to stay put on my foot when I put my foot into my skate?

Will they stretch my skates out?

I always found the silipos tubes easier to use. I know---a bit late. Sorry.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

Did you get the Achilles heel pad? The one with "no-slip thin stocking" seems secure enough.

I doubt any gel product is rigid enough to stretch out the skates.

Try putting it inside your sock. The sock will hold it in place while you slide into the skate.

No, but you will feel like your skate fits different without them if you don't wear them.. however this feeling usually goes away in a session or two so I'm not convinced it's actually doing anything to the skate, it's more about how quickly we adapt to how our boots "should" feel, so anything different feels well, different :)

My feet are so much happier now.

YAY!! Glad it helped you. Happy feet are one of the BIGGEST factors in this sport. So many people get discouraged and quit if they can't solve the foot comfort problems.
