Very proud of my DD. she landed her first Axel Wednesday afternoon. It was her 4th day trying and she was very determined to do it. She has been doing them perfectly off ice and was disgusted with herself because she didn't land it sooner :) . she literally was in tears at her Monday lesson because she couldn't get it. Sounds like I have a perfectionist on my hands. sigh**

Congrats!  Only 4 days is very impressive!

Congratulations! I think landing the 1st axel is the most excited thing.

Four days!!! Congratulations to her. It took DD 6 months to land hers and another 6 months before it was consistent. She's a year and a half into working on double--either falls or underrotates it. I cant tell if she get it tomorrow or it will be another year and a half, but she keeps plugging away.

That is amazing!

Add us in the 6 months of working and another six months for consistency. :P  We are also in doubles, one is nearing consistency, 2 others are close and one she said is kind of "scary". ;D

It's a great milestone!  Congrats to her!
