Dancers:  Please accept my apologies.  I know nothing about dance, testing, tracks, etc.  I hope that one of you will take your own poll.  I left the option here to generalize if you have crossed over and have done or do both.  If there are any options I should add, let me know!

Don't forget adults above Gold...

(oops- I put I was in II, but apparently my birthday falls so I have one more year in I.  I've never heard of a competition that uses those except Adult Nationals, though.  Therefore, I've never skated in an age class.)

I have passed through Juv Free. I passed Pre-Juv and Juv as an adult :) I am working on my Intermediate Free (if my double sal would ever decide to cooperate - coach says I have the height to do a triple, but I can't seem to get over my right side...grrr) and my Senior Moves (Outside power pulls have replaced axels in Dante's circles of hell).

Eta - I passed Intermediate, Novice, and Junior moves as an adult. I am working on passing senior at the non-adult standard.

LOL, not sure if you want to be jealous :)  The thought of me getting back a double axel and triple loop I had as a teenager/20 year-old flashes images of very painful falls in my near future, and me also wondering if I'm crazy  :D

But........I'm up for a good challenge, and I said three years ago when I returned to skating I wouldn't do Adult Senior events until I remastered at least that double axel.

I better stock up on padding :) :)

I can't select anything.. I did pass pre-pre moves and free as a teen though :)

I've passed Gold MIF and Silver Free, I'm in age class IV, and I also test in dance - one more Bronze to go.  I actually don't compete in freestyle any more - I'm totally obsessed with ice dance.  I might chase some higher level Moves tests, though.  Intermediate won't be happening until I learn how to do twizzles in my wrong direction.

Wow I am totally inspired.  When did you stop testing/competing in freestyle?

Um, maybe three years ago?  I only did dance at the last two Adult Nationals, but did an artistic the year before that, and the year before THAT was the last time I competed in freestyle.  I like to jump, but simply don't have time to train everything properly.  I'll never have an axel, so I'm maxed out in freestyle testing anyway.  I started in dance as a way to improve my basic skating skills, and found I really liked it.  I might do artistics in the future, but don't intend to compete in freestyle any more.

I've tested PB MIF, but got a retry.  I've competed PB against skaters 10+ years younger, never in age brackets.  I'm either IV or V (I'm 49) and hope to try testing and competing again next year.

Nope, you're still a Class III!  Class IV begins when you turn 51.

Maybe not :)  My coach thinks my 2S will be solid before I get my axel (back)... and since the test requirements are changing this fall, gold may eventually be a possibility for me.  Assuming of course I get through the other tests at some point...

VAsk8r

I failed bronze MIF Friday basically by tripping on my toepick on my very first stroke...sigh...so I must say just pre-bronze MIF and freestyle. Hopefully this will change in August!

Wow that's terrible ... didn't they let you have a reskate?  I nearly fell on my Pre Bronze in between elements

What changes are being made to the tests?
Adult gold can do an axel or a double sal or toe loop.jump.
Adult bronze no longer has scratch spin (and now max 2 spins in comp)
Adult silver no longer has layback/attitude (and lots of new comp restrictions)

There was a clarification about the step sequence for senior men, but I didn't see any standard track test changes. Do you skate adult pairs? There were changes there. Just Google governing council and the report on the usfs site comes up

I was just about to test Pre-bronze MITF before I broke my ankle. I had been about to test it a few times but kept missing the registration deadlines. I'm now finally going to test in August. It feels like it's been a very long time coming. I may try for a contingency test and do bronze moves as well. But I've also been working on the preliminary dances and if any of those are ready, I'll do that instead of bronze moves for now. I'm really looking forward to finally testing!
"Any day now" turned out to be November 14, 2014.

You know I've been thinking about getting back into ISI.  I skated ISI when I was a kid, I can't remember how far I tested up to though lol.  My coach refuses to do anything ISI related, however the rink that I teach LTS is ISI only.  I really like the Open Events they have advertised, and I know the competitions/testing is much more inexpensive than USFS ;)

They can look it up for you, just as USFSA can :)

I was also an ISI skater as a kid, I got through FS 5 and was getting ready to test FS 6 when I joined USFSA.  I got injured less than a month after taking my firsts tests and that was the end of my USFSA and ISI testing.  Looking back I really wish I'd continued to test even though I had no plans to compete.

Bunny Hop

I don't test and don't plan to either, but of course we have a different test structure here anyway, so it's not relevant.

Not actually sure where I would fit into the freestyle test structure here - probably still somewhere in the Aussie Skate (Learn to Skate) basic levels!  :D
In dance working on Swing Dance, Fiesta Tango, Fourteen Step and Foxtrot if that helps establish level.

phoenix

I'm one of those non-FS dance people! :) i've passed through 2 pre-golds standard track, took the third one once, then got injured a little over a year ago. Juuuust starting back on the ice & working through the basics again!

I also tested through juv. Moves, took intermediate once.

PinkLaces

I am a Bronze lady.  I have passed Bronze Moves, Bronze FS, and ISI Bronze.

Can't fill it in as I'm in the UK... lol!

While I mostly do dance these days, I still do a bit of freestyle. I'm completely stuck 2 footing my loop and flip (through fear!) as an adult though. :(

I tested NSA Preliminary Figures and Free as a kid which according to NISA will grant me the equivalent of level 2 in Free, elements and field moves when I rejoin. (roughly equivalent to US bronze level but with no loop) I had my papers in to test Bronze when I quit as a kid (UK bronze test in the 1980s = various (school) figures and jumps up to and including axel, combo jumps, combo spins etc I think) but I never sat it in the end. Wish I had, as I'm not sure I'll ever make it back to re-learning an axel, let alone having a test ready one! I'm just too scared now! Breaking my wrist during my 1st fall after returning has a lot to answer for... :-\

There is no adult test stream here so everyone is tested to the same standard.

I will hopefully be putting my papers in for level 1 pattern dance (Prelim foxtrot and Rhythm blues), Level 1 variation dance (Rhythm blues variation) and possibly level 2 pattern dance too (Canasta tango and Dutch waltz) whenever my rink reopens. (I'm working towards testing level 3 field moves too but have a long, long way to go on those! No hope of testing free any time soon.)
