My review: I saw the dress rehearsal and taping of this on Thursday in Kent, WA (outside of Seattle). There is so much terrific stuff here. You know that I'll say that Ilia was fantastic and he was but you decide on that, I'm biased. Katia was glowing in the Nino Rota theme from Romeo & Juliet with Kenny G - Katia using all the grace and delicacy that she can bring - gorgeous. Joannie was fantastic - that woman has the deepest edges for a singles skater and it makes a big difference. The AHA moment for me was Miki Ando. She is often described as distant or unemotional - not so here! Two gorgeous and emotional programs with the standout being "You Must Love Me" (she told me afterward that the musical and stunning choreography was by Kenji Miyamoto) which was heartrending and magnificent - I hope it translates on to the TV screen the way we saw it in the arena. Kurt, Ryan, everyone gave it everything and it was very 'committed' all around. Very worth tuning in for.

I enjoyed it too... but the dinner beforehand was a disaster!   There's a few pictures on my blog/website.

I'm curious - what dinner before hand? My group (Kulik's Krew) went out to dinner at an Italian restaurant within walking distance of the arena between the rehearsal and the show. Coincidentally, Ilia, Katia and Liza ate dinner there too.

Was there some sort of an 'official' dinner?

It was prior to the show, included with the price of the $100 ticket, dinner, upstairs, buffet (completely out of food except 1 entree which was late and hardly worth the extra we spent) ... Im sure you had a much better dinner~
