I'm so obsessed...    I photograph my bruises.  With a tape measure.

Clarice

Awesome.

I have gotten up early enough to make a 6 a.m. practice at a rink two hours away.

I practice rotation position "snap" in line at the supermarket :-)

I've been caught several times doing spirals in the toilets at work. It is the only place I have access to that I can easily see if my leg is high enough! ;D

Hi five sister. (Although I've never been caught. I go in the handicap toilets to do a spiral)

In lines I stand on one foot and occasionally do one foot knee bends.
Yes I'm in with the 90's. I have a skating blog. http://icedoesntcare.blogspot.com/

Ahhh... see the handicapped loos are good for stretching spirals just a little higher but the mirrors are rubbish! Checking their height is for ordinary work loos only! ;D

SynchKat

When I worked I would often walk through synchro program steps while I waited for my water to boil for tea or while I waited for photocopying.  :)

Now I do this while I cook dinner in my kitchen.

Been caught practicing spreadeagles and walking through dance steps while waiting for lunch to microwave in the office.
and they all know when there's been a synchro competition as they spot the garish colour nail polish.

I walk through all kinds of skills and most of my coworkers know what I'm doing.  I was doing waltz jumps in the back hallway (checking to make sure no one was watching) when one of the surgeons caught me.  He gave me a "6".

LOL... I thought I was the only one!
By the way, is there a way to "like" a post? or give +3GOE to the post?

I once crashed into my coffee table when doing axel or some kind of double attempt in my living room..I felt awesome!
I've mastered the art of doing spirals in empty elevators in both directions

Today I got the hang of the famous Hollywood stop. AKA show stop, with either foot out front.   Now to be able to do it at any speed.
There must be moderation in everything. Including moderation.

This is so me.

I might have to adopt the bruise tape-measure - I like it!

I've done waltz jumps down an empty aisle at work (startling the poor co-worker in the next aisle), and I've also practiced a LOT of 3-turns and spins at work. We have a smooth, shiny concrete floor. When combined with my work boots that are just wearing out of tread...perfect combination.  ;)
"Three months in figure skating is nothing. Three months is like 5 minutes in a day. 5 minutes in 24 hours - that's how long you've been working on this. And that's not long at all. You are 1000% better than you were 5 minutes ago." -- My coach
