My kids have the ubiquitous spiral pants, and I love the fabric. It's just got a nice weight to it and they say it's warm and comfy to skate in. So, I put a pair of CN pants on my amazon wish list. Not the spiral, because I don't need to look like all the little girls. I chose the P02 style, which has a stripe down the outside of the leg and a colored border at the hem and waist.

My husband bought them for me and I am bummed to find they are not the same fabric. They're really soft and stretchy, but don't have the same weight or the slightly-plush-ish inner facing that the kids' spiral pants have. They feel not much different from my yoga pants in weight.

So, I'm wondering if anyone out there has CN pants that are in the heavier weight fabric like the spiral pants (the regular ones, by the way, not the polartech), and if so, which style are they? I think I want to exchange them. I also got a pair of Nike hyperwarm tights and they feel so nice and soft and warm.

The garment tags should say what the fabric is made of and in what % if it is a blend. Compare yours to what your kids have and also read the item description on the website to compare. The spiral style may require a different fabric than the side stripe style to allow for movement of the leg.

I think the model number of the spiral ones also has a variation in black, so maybe see what model the girls' pants are? (Not sure if that's written on the tag anywhere

I think there are couple of different types of fabric which used to be really well explained on their website but I just checked and the information seems to have changed. The pants used to be grouped by fabric.
I have a pair of the spiral pants (P06) and also a pair of the P26s. The spiral pants are a much heavier fabric so I assumed they were the P06Ps until I tried a pair of P83s which are way more fleecy. I think you need to look for Smooth Faced instead of Lightly Faced! It looks like P76 may be the same as the spiral pants, but I'm not sure.....

I don't know if this will help, but I have the p23 style and it also doesn't have the slightly plushy inner facing. (And I'm not sure of the size, so have never worn it )

Lots of good suggestions! Thanks so much. Unfortunately, it looks like I can't get exactly what I want. I choose this style because i just didn't want something quite as "out there" as the spiral. But the P76 is spiral-ish, too. I know it sounds ridiculous out loud but I'm not that good a skater and I think I would feel uncomfortably conspicuous in those. :( I will have to investigate further and see if any of the others have that "smooth faced" description.

I agree that the fabric you're talking about is terrific.  I wear the (now outdated) P29s and they are hands down the best skate pants I've ever had.  When I needed to replace them, I actually emailed Chloe Noel to find out what pants in their current range are made of the same P29 fabric and was told that only some of the spiral swirl pants (P06 range?) have it now.  Like twinskaters, I wasn't quite ready to wear spiral legs, so bought as many of the close-out P29s as I could find for myself, and bought P19 and P22 for my DDs by request.  I can confirm that the P19 and P22 are not made of the same quality/density fabric as the original P29s  :(.
