Hello there. I'm looking into new boots for my 6 year old who is beginner test track. She is currently in Jacksons and has heel slippage. She has narrow feet but likes room in the toe box. I am thinking harlicks would be a good fit for her, but will not spend the money on them unless she actually gets fitted for them. We live in northeast FL and dont have a real fitter in town. Does anyone know of a good fitter in Florida??

Tami Mickle, who fits for SP Teri, spends a lot of time in SE Georgia. You may be able to meet up with her. I don't know if she fits for other brands.

You can find contact information here:

I'm not familiar with fitters in that area otherwise. You can get Jacksons in a split width with a narrower heel, but they may not do that until a certain level of boot which your daughter may not be ready for. You'd have to ask Jackson or a Jackson fitter.
"Any day now" turned out to be November 14, 2014.

What part of Florida are you in?

Mark Ladwig is in Ellenton (Jackson Rep)
Christine Crowe is in Melbourne (also Jackson Rep)
And I think Brian Kader can fit, in Orlando.

Jacksonville is iffy, it depends on who you get.

We are in Jacksonville. We will however be in Ellenton for Chumley and September and will be in orlando this weekend visiting friends.  Maybe I'll try to get her fitted in ellenton

I asked a friend tonight about her grandson's fitter in Orlando. She provided the name Brian Kader (I see that someone else in a post above also mentioned him).

Her grandson skates at the RDV Sportsplex rink in Orlando, but she wasn't clear whether Brian works from there. I was told that Brian is a Harlick rep, so his input may be biased toward Harlick. Sounds like a lead though.

I think Brian fit my friend in Jacksons recently (she couldn't afford Harlicks) and they fit her perfectly. I think you have to get in contact with him first though.

He's a great person. Really knowledgeable.
