Gel tubes are magic. One brand is silipos, bunga is anoter. You can buy them either as one long tube or as two shorter ones. As for the heel detaching from your skate- I guess I'm not sure what you mean. Is the heel coming off the boot? If so then yes I would be concerned. Do you have access to a good skate tech? I would start there, or at the shop where you bought them. It might be a simple fix, it might not. I'm guessing it's just starting to separate now, but it's not going to get better. If your heel isn't attached to your boot you will have trouble controlling your blade and could injure yourself and others.
How old are your boots? They might also be under some sort of warranty. Worth looking into at least.
