Are Superfeet insoles any good for pronated feet - my left foot is the worst and was considering getting a pair for my SP Teri boots. Even with outside shims under the blades to help compensate for the pronation, I still have trouble with left outside edges and 3 turns.

Am curious if any of you have used them and your thoughts and experience -  pro or con

Thanks ,  Jon in Ohio

I used the yellow ones (meant for skates) for a bit when I was having a bit of trouble with a pair of skates.  I would say they worked as advertised but I felt it threw me off my edges a bit.  It's important to read the website and know how to fit them as the ones I got weren't my shoe size.

I have the yellow ones that were put in my skates by my skate tech guy.  They fit fine - I don't notice that much of a difference (I don't pronate) but my skates I think were too big and now they fit better.

Can't say it has helped me with my edges and turns much...

yellow insoles look balanced from side to side, likely they just give more arch support? I got them while addressing pronation, although I should say shimming and blade alignment probably played bigger role. definitely does not hurt to get them though.

Sorry to blogroll, but here's how I use super feet to help with pronation.

It's  a 3 part series. Just skip to the end if all you want is how I did it. All the rest provides some sciencey and personal experiences.
