Google's AI search engine claims that there are online CAD designs of figure skating blades.

But they seem to be hard to find. And my degree of trust in Google's AI searches is not very high.

But here is a website that appears to show the design of an MK Phantom:
https://grabcad.com/library/ice-skate-blade

Perhaps it was just guessed at from a photo of the blade, and might be inaccurate?

I don't know cad, and have no idea whether there is enough info there to actually make a blade. And whether it would be legal to do so.

I was thinking about this.

I don't know if there are any patents or copyrights on the design of such blades. But in many countries I suspect "MK" and "Phantom" are trademarks in relation to figure skating blades. So you probably can't copy them onto any blades you make like them.

I once talked to someone who repaired elaborate patented machines. He said actually copying such a machine would be illegal. But it was legal to repair it, including making similar design replacement parts for it. I don't know if that was correct. But if it is, perhaps you could unweld (un-solder?) the runners from worn down MK Phantom blades, make your own similar shape runners (without the trademarks), and weld or silver-solder your runners into place.

It is possible the time and effort spent would not be worth the cost of the blades. :)

People do stuff like that in machine shop for classic cars. But for the most part, only if the parts are no longer available. And it isn't cheap to pay a machinist to do it.
