Query

(Sorry if I've got the wrong forum. This isn't "training" either.)

There is now a rather large outdoor ice rink at [Gaylord] National Harbour, around where the fountain runs in the summer.

If things haven't changed, parking is several times more expensive than the skating sessions, but if you happen to be at the harbour for something else in season (e.g., they have conventions at the hotels there, and they will open a casino nearby), skating may be possible.

Edit: I have not been there. I do not know if the address on the web pages applies to the ice rink. In particular, National Harbour area extends into Maryland. Sorry. Perhaps you can get there by metro.

Query

The Maryland National Harbour ice rink that was open last year at

Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center
201 Waterfront Street
National Harbor, MD 20745

has CLOSED.

But the following rinks are new to 2012:

3000 K St. NW
Washington, DC

(The security office says that the address on the website, 3050 K St NW, is incorrect.)

Canal Park Ice Rink
2nd & M St. SE Washington DC.
