A skate storage problem!

So now it's mid-spring, the temperature is finally rising again, and I'm in my happy place.

Unfortunately, though, I'm still at uni until the end of November.

On the days I have classes, I usually go straight to the rink from uni...and herein lies the problem.

Winter? No problem, I just left my skate case in the car. (Tucked down behind the driver's seat, of course...out of sight...). Unfortunately, now that it's getting warmer, my car is turning into an oven...and we're only averaging 21 degrees at the moment. I know leaving skates in a hot car is not good for them.

The other problem is that my uni campus is very large and spread-out, or I'd be more willing to lug my case around...

Any ideas?!

When we first moved, my skates had to be outside in 100°F weather for several weeks because of storage issues.  Buy a cooler and a blue ice pack.  Every morning, put the skates on top of the ice pack, boot side down, so the blades don't touch the cold and suffer from condensation.

Does your rink have lockers available for rent?  Of course, that doesn't work so well if you skate at more than one rink.

Once I had to do that, so I toted my skates into class with me, just took them out of my skate bag and put them into my book bag. No one even said anything and they didn't add that much weight.

Would a portable fan help somehow?

I like the cooler idea but haven't implemented it yet. Would the high, constant humidity be detrimental by any chance?

Blue ice doesn't introduce moisture because it's a sealed container. 
Baggies of melting ice are a different story since they can leak.
