Guess this means I'm really competing in June, otherwise I'm throwing money away! I don't join a club unless I have a test to put out, so I haven't been a member in a few years.  Well, no test coming up, but I'm planning on competing USFS for the first time ever.  I'm very excited, just crossing my fingers my events don't end up on Friday or else I'll have to withdraw and all the money will be wasted :(

Can't believe I'm competiting!  Oh the nerves.

Exciting!  I am planning on re-joining my local club in July so I can test :D

Hopefully I'll rejoin next year too- with a test ready!  But for now, it's just for the competition at the very end of the member year.  (Which I'm sure is intentional to get tests done before memberships expire.  I'm the only one looking at it the other way.)

Most likely... our local club has their "big" competition at the end of the membership year (June) I think as an effort to get more new members before everything starts over for the "new" year.

Since I don't care about competing this year, I can just wait :)

Nope, it's been on those dates for years, long before the membership year ended/began on July 1.

Oh well, there goes my theory.  Either way I'm super excited about it!  And happy that you guys recognize that "adult" isn't a single compulsory level (though I don't mind that some get combined)!
