As some of us know, there are only two sharpening machine options, if you want to use 3" grinding wheel. Incredible Edger and Blademaster BRPD1. One reason why I end up to IE is that I could not find any user experiences or videos from the Blademaster machine. Even today its extremely difficult to find information about Blademaster machine. De l'extérieur on se doutait qu'il y avait le moteur avec une poulie et un axe porte meule, mais là on voit mieux avec votre vidéo.
Comment avez vous ces renseignements, vous connaissez quelqu'un qui a cette machine ?
Est ce que d'après vous, ce serait le même moteur que la blademaster classique car sinon, j'avais déjà pensé modifier ma machine...en ajoutant 2 poulies et un porte meule...
Je viens tout juste de prendre quelques mesures et cela correspond à la taille de la spb 850.
Je pense qu'ils ont juste ajouté un porte axe meule !

Its possible that they use same motor housing casting in several motor units. That is possible if they remove the nozzle what 3" wheel spindle cartridge requires by machining. However taking in account that they probably sell mainly 8" versions, it would costly to machine this nozzle away from 90% of the castings.
I have no idea what electric motor they use.
I sketched this rough 3D model when we were planning to make custom made dust hood for it.
I also want to buy Blademaster BRPD1 because of its compact and portable. But there is too little information about it so it is difficult to choose because of the high price.
