Title: Klingbeil Roller Skates
Post by: Jon-Ohio on August 04, 2013, 08:26:58 PM
I thought Klingbeil were primarily high quality ice skating boots but seems they're branching out into the  roller skate business now - saw these on eBay:

Times are changing for sure with increasing competition between boot makers trying to stay solvent !

Klingbeil has made roller skates for years and years.  Since the business was sold, the new owners have funded new skate lines and models.  Sasha Cohen has a line of stock figure skates made by Klingbeil.  A few months ago, I saw another new line that someone correctly identified as roller derby skates.

It is good to see them growing.  I wish they could address the orthopedic needs of adults better.  The late founder was so knowledgable that he could handle any issue, but sadly, a lot of that was lost when he passed away.
