Title: interview with Evgeni Plushenko
Post by: SillyAdultSkater on March 13, 2011, 08:39:18 AM
I hope this works (straight to google translate)

If not, try translate.google.com and translate the original page which is at

They start out talking about non-skating stuff, but they get to skating in a bit. Apparently he's been out with another injury at that point due to having gained too much weight and having over-strained his knees, but he's back now and quite set on being at the next Olympics, and apparently he has all his triples and his quad-triple combinations back at interview time. Only thing he's worried about is how the new judging rules for levels of step sequences and such are going to work for/against his programme. probably worth noting, interview is from 2009.

I don't his reinstatement appeal has been judged yet.  If the ISU doesn't allow him to compete again, he'll be in good shape to do skating shows.  They seem to be his priority, anyway.  He likes screaming fans more than competitions.
