Hmm, I've been using 114" laces with my men's size 8 Gold stars, and they are a bit long. It is the size that they came with. The chart recommends something even longer - 120".

I assume that the difference can be attributed to boot design changes that have occurred since I got mine in 2007. Owners of older Riedell skates should proceed with caution.

My new Jackson Premieres came with 154" laces. I replaced them with 108". They were waaaay too long. I could have tied my boots and my granddaughter's  (child 11) with the same pair of laces. . .
