2018 Clearance Sales
« on: March 30, 2018, 11:10:21 AM »
This is the time of year when clearance sales for skating start to take place.  My fitter clued me in to the fact that many skate sets, boots and blades are being discontinued for the new model year, so there some really great bargains to be had, if you need new equipment.  Ultima is thinning out their blade line drastically, so there are all sorts of things on clearance.

Kinzie's Closet, for example, has Jackson Premiere and Competitor skates on clearance.  I saw the new Competitor - it has a PVC bottom, like Edea uses.

New adult skater here. I ended up getting a pair of GAM Concepts - which seem to be very similar to the Jackson Marquis - for $109 on Amazon. They’ve also been on clearance at Kinzie’s Closet and Skaters Landing.

I must be an old fuddy-duddy. I prefer the look of the leather sole.
